I needed my home telephone line checked, which is not the usual service provided by Thomas Edison Electric. I thought I had a short in the wiring outside at the service connection to my home. Ryan Ross, the General Manager, made the service call at 6:00 PM on a Saturday evening, which again is highly unusual for an electrical company. I mentioned I had Spectrum internet and home phone service. He then asked if my base station was plugged into the router. It was not. He suggested we try that. Lo and behold, the phone worked fine at the base station as well as the other locations throughout the house. When I asked what I owed him for the service call, he said nothing. He was glad to be of assistance. I even offered him a cash tip, but he refused that too. I can only sum up this experience with the following words: HONESTY, INTEGRITY, CARING.
